WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS!!

WhooooooHooooooo!!!!  Can you say World Champions?!!! When you think of St. Louis, think of the Cardinals who just whoop'd up on some Tigers!!! Can't you just hear Queen singing, "We Are the Champions"?  I can!!  I am so happy because everyone had counted us out of the World Series, but our boys weren't having it!! So nah, nah, nah!!! We won anyway!! I just love the underdog!! Okay, I had to get that out.  I'm done now.(LOL!)

I had a great day today!  All I did was scrap and look ugly all day long! That's right, I didn't comb my hair, I didn't take off my pajamas all day and it was a beautiful thing! It seems like I never stop moving, so when I have the chance to do nothing- I'm all over it!  Anyway, here are two layouts I did today.  One is of Michael who'll be turning five next week and the other one is of Brittany who's graduating from high school in May.  I'm still feeling scrappy, so I'm gonna work on another page before I go to bed.  Take care and Be Blessed!!

I've Gotta Get This!!

Since I don't have my very own scrap room,  I do my scrapping in the family room. Now, I love my family and I do like to spend time with them, however when it comes to scrapping I need my own space!  Anyway, I was cruising the web and I came upon this site-The Scrap Box .  Can you say WOW!! Now I've gotta tell you that I am what you call "Organizationally Challenged"  so I need as much help as I can get! I have to have this!! Look at how organized I will be when I get this!  Now, it's gonna take me about 3 years to save enough money to get this(LOL!), but it will be well worth it! No, I'm actually gonna try to have it by the first of the year so I'll post pictures when I get it! Well, I'm gonna go be scrappy now, so take care and Be Blessed!!

Always A Bridesmaid!

Well, I didn't make it to the final round of the MMIdol Contest, but I think third place is cool with me!! It truly was an amazing thing to be a part of and I appreciate all of my die-hard friends for standing by me! I had a great time and can't wait to see who comes out the winner!  Hey, maybe now I can relax and get some scrapping done and some sleep! (LOL!)  I really think I'm done with contests (for real this time!!) because I can't ever seem to win any!!  Oh well,  Always a bridesmaid, Never a bride!  Take care and Be Blessed!

It's That Time Again!!

I had a really fun weekend! My oldest nephew was voted Homecoming King, so we went to the parade and game and had a blast!  Here is a photo of "King" Brian and my Mom; one of Brittany, me, Mom, Erin, and Lauren at the parade; and Michael enjoying the parade.

OMG!!!

Oh, my goodness!!!! I am sitting here in total shock and in extreme gratitude! I made it to the 3rd round of the Making Memories Idol Contest! I have to tell you that the 2nd challenge was truly a challenge and I went to bed last night not very confident I would be going on to the next round! We had to use 9 photos on one layout and you know I'm strickly a 1 photo gal, but I did my best! 

I want to send out a congratulations to Wilna and Jennifer for also making it to the next level, but I want to send a super shout-out to the fabulously talented Scott Cotner-Young who will not be moving on this time.  Scott has got to be one of the sweetest and most talented souls out there!  He has been so very kind and encouraging as well.  I'm so happy to have gotten a chance to meet this classy man!

What A Day!

I woke up this morning to a congratulations e-mail from Making Memories telling me I had advanced on to round 2!! Yipeeeeeeee!! I am completely amazed and grateful to everyone who took the time out of their day to go vote for me.  I am extremely humbled and I thank you from the bottom of my heart.  I am now working on a new layout for round 2 while I work on my report cards which are due on Monday!(LOL)  Here is the page I did for the first challenge.  I thank you again.  Take care and Be blessed!

WOWIEEE!!!

So I get home from work today and all of this stuff is waiting for me! This is a goodie box I received from Making Memories and it is FABULOUS!!! This isn't even a part of the prizes either! If I get to stay in the contest for another round, I'll use some of this stuff on my layouts.  If not, I'll still use this stuff because it is some kinda marvelous stuff!!  Take care and Be Blessed!!

Well, I must say that I happily had a very quiet weekend. I didn't do anything except deal with Miss Brittany and her homecoming weekend.  Of course she had no idea of what she was gonna wear until 6:00 last night.  The dance started at 7:00! I have no idea of where she got this last minute stuff from cause I like to have my plan together, in case something happens at the last minute.

Next weekend I get the house all to myself!!  Gregory is taking Brittany and Michael up to Erica's homecoming so I can scrap all I want!  I was originally going too, so we could have a family weekend, but he surprisingly suggested that maybe I could stay home so I can "make stuff" in peace.  Sweeeeet!! So hopefully I get some good stuff done.
