A Tough Week

Out of my 18 years of teaching, this has been the hardest. I'll spare you all of the details, but I will tell you that I've never suffered a loss like I did last week.  One of my students passed away suddenly.  It's been quite a shock for everyone and unbelievable indeed. Today is the day she will be buried, so that's what I'll be doing this morning.  Please, please keep her family in your prayers.

I wanted to share a card I made for my amazingly talented friend Valerie's Got Sketch blog.  She's honestly one of the most talented ladies I've ever had the pleasure of meeting and you should spend some time checking out her site and a new upcoming class she'll be teaching.  I guarentee you won't be disappointed!

Givaways Galore!

Tonight is a huge release party for Unity Stamp Company! They are releasing 5 new kits and 10 single stamps. The party is going to get started over on Splitcoast Stampers at 9:00 CST. A Sneak Peek!

Angela, owner of Unity Stamp Co.,  is getting ready to release some new stamps! Here is a sneak peek of a new stamp from one of the new kits! Here's a layout I did just because I wanted to do a layout tonight.  It features my little cousin Kaylin and my daughter Brittany.  Just about everything I used here is from Basic Grey's Sultry collection. Mmmmm...all of that beautiful paper and tasty chipboard! Man, I just love all those new Basic Grey collections! I just can't get enough of this fabulous stuff!

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!

Happy Mother's Day!  I just popped in to wish all of you beautiful ladies a wonderful day!   I've been such a bad blogger lately, but it's just not been enough time in the day for me to get everything done that I want to get done! Anyway, here's some cards I made for my mom to accompany the gift certificate and the 100 bloom bouquet of flowers we got her.
