Hip Hop!

This pendant I made from a domino! I know! How fun is this? All I did was drill a hole in the top of my domino, stamp it with a flower from Unity's August Kit of the Month, and stamp it with the "love" stamp from the Birds of a Feather kit using Staz On ink. Next, I colored in my flower using my Copic markers. I used a gold paint pen to outline the domino and added some bling to the center of the flower.  I then covered the entire domino in Diamond Glaze.  After it dried, I added a string,  a few beads, and I was done!

I hope everyone is doing well today! The weather here has been absolutely beautiful and I'm truly enjoying it! 65 degrees in the mornings and lower 80's by the afternoon! Great weather I tell ya!

Family Album

Wow! This week has just flown by! I forgot how busy I am at my job! Constantly on the move is what we teachers are! And you talking about multi-tasking? Man, I think we invented that in the work place. As we all know moms have been doing this forever!

This card was made using Basic Grey papers along with the Birds of a Feather stamp kit, and the With Confidence single stamp from Unity Stamp Co.!

My Summer Comes To An End

Yep, it's true! Monday is my first day back to work and I think I'm ready! I've always looked forward to summer vacation, but I've also always been ready to go back to start a new school year.  I so look forward to meeting my new class and teaching them the best I can.  Yep, I know I'm so blessed to have a job I love. It makes it so easy to go, you know? That's why I always tell my girls they need to figure out what they do well and enjoy, so they can have a career versus just have a job.

Here are a few items I made using the August kit Cirque Du Soleil from Scrap-Tastic. There are lots of fun items from Basic Grey's Cupcake Collection included in this kit to create birthday cards and layouts! And of course I used my Cricut and the Celebrations cartridge to create these cards! I also used a birthday stamp from Unity Stamp Co..

Well, I'm gonna go prepare myself for my return to my classroom on Monday! It's been a wonderful summer, but it's time for school! Have a great day, Take Care and Be Blessed!
